Confirmation Appointment

I went to get medical confirmation today!  It's legit...we are pregnant.  I saw Dr. Reynolds and he confirmed it.  I got a due date of July 25, 2012.  Blood pressure is good and my internal exam showed everything looks good and as it should.  We spoke about having a VBAC (vaginal birth after Cesarean) this time around and I told him that I was open to it.  I asked what my chances were of being able to do it.  He said that women who are doing VBAC already have about an 80% chance of actually being able to do it.  In my case, he give me about a 60% chance of being able to do it.  So, I'm not counting on it.  But good news is I will get to have this baby a week earlier if I am a scheduled c-section!  So it could  be a July 18th birth date!  We will see.  We also spoke about the possibility of miscarriage related to my IUD removal in February.  For those of you that don't know...my IUD (Intrauterine device) punctured thru my uterus and was sitting in my pelvis.  It had to be removed laproscopically.--yeah, I won't be having another one of those, rest assured.  He decided to do an ultrasound in 4 weeks, just to make sure that everything looks good.  Next appointment is Dec 14, 2011.
BTW...I hear everything starts happening faster the second time around.  I'm already seeing signs of that.  My boobs are already sore!  I just hope the heartburn stays away as long as possible!

Guess What?!

Well it's a new blog and very exciting day.  I'm pregnant.  After three months of trying to conceive, I finally got my big fat positive!  I was at work and I just felt like something was urging me to take a test.  I had this same feeling when I was pregnant with Haven.  So I hopped in the car (I was at work) and headed to Rite-Aid.  My heart was pounding the whole ride there and back to the office.  I go in and get a Clear Blue Easy pregnancy test.  Same kind I tested with last time.  Seems to be trustworthy!  So I go to the bathroom and pee on the stick and stick it back in my purse (gross I know, but I was at work...can't walk around with it or leave it and come back!) and back to my office I go.  I literally got back up the stairs and sat down at my desk, pulled it out of my purse and BAM!!  There it was in plain English: "PREGNANT".  I was shocked.  I really didn't know what to expect.  I knew something was up...my cycle was different this month, for sure.  But I was convinced a few months ago that I was pregnant and my test was a big fat negative.  So I was skeptical this time around.  But SUPER excited for the new chapter that we are about to embark on.
